Insurance Disputes

An insurance policy is a contract between an insurance company and policy holder, where the policy holder pays money, usually called premiums, and in exchange receives defined financial reimbursement and protections against covered losses from the insurance company.  Insurance Disputes may occur when the policy holder and insurance company do not agree a loss is covered by the policy. Or, if the loss is covered, do not agree to the amount of the loss. Both individuals and businesses purchase insurance policies. Common types of insurance claims where Insurance Disputes arise include:

  • Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims

  • Commercial auto insurance claims

  • Windshield damage claims

  • Autobody repair claims

  • Yacht and boat insurance claims

  • Marina insurance claims

  • Boatyard insurance claims

  • Business owner's policy claims

  • General liability insurance claims

  • Professional liability insurance claims

  • Directors and officers insurance claims

  • Errors & omissions claims

  • Business interruption claims

  • Marine insurance claims
